Talon Winery is set to uncork its highly anticipated Equestrian Series XIV bottle, an annual tradition that blends local artistry, horse culture, and handcrafted wine.

The Equestrian Series is Talon Winery’s signature wine line. While the blend changes from year to year, the wine is typically known for its smooth, medium-bodied profile. Each bottle features original artwork that reflects the elegance and strength of the horse, turning every label into a canvas.

The Series XIV label was brought to life by local artist Connor Query, whose artwork adds a bold and expressive touch to this year’s release. At the heart of the design is Valentine, a graceful horse whose presence caught the eye of photographer Becca Bertrand. With the support of Valentine’s owner, Wren Zimmerman, the vision behind the label made its way from photograph to painting—and finally, to the front of the bottle.

On July 26, wine lovers and horse enthusiasts are invited to visit the winery for a special bottle signing with the artist behind this year’s label. Guests will also have the unique chance to meet the horse featured on the bottle, along with its owner and the original photographer. While you’re there, enjoy samples of other wines or relax with a glass in hand during live music—no cover fee required.
