West Sixth Brewing is turning “Lucky 13” in 2025, and they’re inviting the community to join in the celebrations! From Thursday, March 27 to Sunday, March 30, the Lexington brewery will mark its 13th anniversary with a lineup of events.

Thursday, March 27: Local Mash Food & Beer Pairing

The festivities kick off on Thursday evening with Local Mash, the brewery’s annual food and beer pairing event. From 6 – 9 p.m., guests will enjoy an evening of pairings crafted to highlight West Sixth’s best brews alongside local eats. Tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

Friday, March 28: Build Your Own Party Pack

West Sixth Brewing will offer a fun and personalized experience where you can hand-pick their favorite beers and place them in a limited-edition Lucky 13 Party Pack Box. These special boxes will be hand-decorated and ready to take home. Running from 3 – 6 p.m.

Saturday, March 29: The Big Day!

Doors open at 10 a.m. with…

• Beer Releases: The first 50 guests to arrive will be treated to a special Snake Cake bottle release — featuring the return of Snake Buns (now with nuts!) and the all-new S’Mores Snakes. Plus, the Magic Beans Coffee Stout, brewed in collaboration with Magic Beans Coffee Roasters, will be available on tap and in cans.
• Giveaways & Free Stuff: The first 50 guests will receive a West Sixth branded Miir Insulated Can Koozie, while all attendees will get a Lucky 13 Birthday Pint Glass (while supplies last).
• Crafted Social Presents: First Call Art Market: For the first time, West Sixth is hosting an art market, featuring work from 12 local artists. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., guests can browse and shop art in the Barrel Room while sipping on their favorite West Sixth brews.
• Special Tappings & Sweet Treats: At 3 p.m., the Snicker’s Snake Cake will be tapped (draft only) alongside free sweet treats from Baby Cakes Cupcakes.
• Tours & More: At 2 p.m., enjoy a West Sixth Brewing Tour, followed by a special Founder’s Tour at 4 p.m.

Sunday, March 30: Family-Friendly Kids Day

The celebrations will wrap up on Sunday with a special Kids Day, offering free entertainment for families. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., kids will be treated to magic shows by Seth the Magician, and fun balloon twisting from Tiny Tall Man. Free, freshly popped popcorn will be available throughout the event.

The taproom will be open for a wide selection of craft beers, while non-alcoholic options like seltzers and sodas will also be on hand.

A Birthday Six-Pack to Get the Party Started

Want to get in the birthday spirit ahead of time? West Sixth Brewing is offering a special West Sixth IPA: Dry-Hopped Anniversary Edition in a six-pack featuring a limited-edition design by Sara Turner of Cricket Press, available starting March 22.
