Nicholasville residents are in for a high-energy grand opening as ALDI prepares to debut its newest store at 641 Keene Centre Drive, highlighted by special giveaways for early customers—including gift bags and a Golden Ticket promotion.

Ribbon Cutting Set for June 25

The celebration kicks off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 25 at 8:30 a.m., followed by doors opening for shoppers at 9 a.m. The store will then operate daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

To mark the occasion, ALDI is rewarding early visitors in a big way. The first 200 customers through the doors will receive a gift bag filled with ALDI product samples plus a gift card, part of the company’s “Golden Ticket” giveaway program.

Golden Ticket Excitement Leads Opening Day Buzz

The Golden Ticket promotion is designed to add a surprise element to the grand opening experience, giving shoppers an extra incentive to arrive early and take part in the celebration. Combined with the limited gift bags, the event is expected to draw strong turnout from local shoppers eager to be among the first inside the new store.

“At our new Nicholasville ALDI store, customers will see why so many already choose ALDI for their weekly grocery shopping,” said Laura Bauer, regional vice president for ALDI. “As shoppers look to stretch their dollar further, we’re excited to open this new location and bring more people a high-quality grocery selection they want and need at the lowest possible price.”

A Familiar ALDI Experience, Built for Value

Inside the new Nicholasville location, shoppers will find the streamlined, value-focused model ALDI is known for. The store emphasizes efficiency and affordability through a carefully curated selection of groceries.

Highlights include:

  • ALDI-exclusive products, which make up nearly 90% of store inventory
  • A focused assortment designed to keep prices low while covering everyday essentials
  • Weekly rotating “ALDI Finds,” offering limited-time seasonal and specialty items

The company continues to expand its footprint nationwide as part of its long-term goal of reaching 3,200 stores by 2028.
