The wildly popular Banana Ball is bringing its one-of-a-kind baseball experience to Lexington for the first time ever. The 2026 Banana Ball World Tour will make a three-day stop in the Bluegrass on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 11–13, featuring the newly announced Indianapolis Clowns and Loco Beach Coconuts.
“Temerity Baseball looks forward to partnering with the Bananas in Lexington in 2026. Our fans in Kannapolis and Greensboro greatly enjoyed the Banana Ball experience and we know our Legends fans will as well,” said Andy Sandler, Legends Owner and Temerity Baseball Founder and Chairman. The Bananas played in Kannapolis, North Carolina, in 2023, while the Party Animals took the show to Greensboro in 2024.
“We’ve spent the last two seasons delivering Legends fans better and better entertainment, and I cannot wait for our season ticket holders and Lexingtonians to see just how fun Banana Ball – and baseball – can be,” said Justin Ferrarella, General Manager of the Lexington Legends. “We appreciate the support from both Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton and VisitLex’s Mary Quinn Ramer in strengthening our bid to be a stop on this World Tour.”
According to the Lexington Legends, hundreds of professional baseball teams across the country competed to host a Banana Ball stop in 2026, making Lexington’s selection a notable win for the city and its fans.
Season tickets and full-season suites for the Lexington Legends’ 2026 season are already on sale, and Legends season ticket holders will receive priority access to purchase Banana Ball game tickets. For more information, fans can contact the Legends’ front office at (859) 252-4487.
Others hoping to attend must join the Banana Ball Ticket Lottery List by November 1 at bananaball.com. Joining the list does not guarantee tickets; names will be randomly drawn prior to the event for a chance to purchase available seats.
