BraveHearts Equine Center is inviting the community to its 2nd Annual Public Open House on Saturday, June 14, and Sunday, June 15, offering guests a unique opportunity to meet rescued draft horses and learn more about the farm’s mission to save equines from abuse, neglect, and slaughter.

The family-friendly event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day at BraveHearts Equine Center, located at 961 Russell Cave Road in Paris, Kentucky. Admission is free, and donations are encouraged to help support the care and rehabilitation of the farm’s equine residents.

Event highlights include:

  • Meet-and-greet with the herd, including rescued Clydesdales, donkeys, and miniature horses
  • Live music performances by local talents Dylan Jasper and Jason Bowling
  • Food and drink vendors
  • Photo opportunities and more

Founded by David and Ruth Waronker, BraveHearts Equine Center spans 140 acres and is owned by Bluegrass Drafts LLC. The nonprofit operates as both a sanctuary for senior horses and a rehabilitation and adoption center for younger rescues. Donations directly fund essentials like hay, grain, shelter, and veterinary care.

The event will be held rain or shine, and all ages are welcome.
