Two Fayette County students are among eight finalists selected for Kentucky’s 2026 “I Voted” Sticker Contest.
Walden Fox and Xavier Caird, both of Fayette County, were selected as finalists from entries submitted by students across Kentucky.
The annual contest, organized by the Kentucky Secretary of State’s Office, gives students in kindergarten through 12th grade the opportunity to design an official “I Voted” sticker.
The eight finalist designs will be displayed at the Kentucky State Fair, August 20–30, where visitors can vote for their favorite at the Secretary of State’s booth.
The design receiving the most votes will be selected as the winner. The winning stickers will then be distributed to county clerks across Kentucky to hand out to voters during the November 2026 general election.
In addition to Fox and Caird, this year’s finalists include Cash Litzler of Fleming County, Heer Patel of Metcalfe County, Meylin Zelaya of Franklin County, Ryker Asher of Laurel County, Rylan Bowman of Hopkins County and Suzy Heichelbech of Woodford County.
This marks the third year for Kentucky’s “I Voted” Sticker Contest.
