Woodford Reserve has unveiled its 2026 commemorative bottle celebrating the Kentucky Derby, continuing a tradition that has become a prized collectible for bourbon and horse racing fans.

The limited-edition bottle, released annually since 1999, commemorates the 152nd running of the race often called “The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports.” This year’s design features original artwork by Chicago-based artist Anna Murphy, whose signature blue-and-white porcelain-inspired style brings the pageantry of Derby fashion to life.

Murphy’s piece, titled “Dress to Impress, 152,” captures the bold style and festive atmosphere synonymous with Derby Day. The artwork features elegantly dressed racegoers surrounded by the event’s iconic red roses along with other symbolic florals, including speedwell, a plant historically gifted for protection during travel.

Murphy, originally from England, moved to Kentucky at age 12 and later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from the University of Louisville in 2011. Her work bridges fine art and street art, translating the detailed techniques of traditional oil painting into large-scale public murals.

“Dress to Impress, 152 is a radiant tribute to Derby fashion, where bold style, timeless tradition, and the spirit of celebration come to life,” Murphy said in a statement. “At the heart of my work is a simple mission: to create beauty that leaves people feeling uplifted and carrying a little more wonder into the world.”

The one-liter commemorative bottle carries a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $50 and became available globally beginning in March. It can also be purchased at the Woodford Reserve Distillery.

Crafted in the heart of Kentucky’s thoroughbred country, Woodford Reserve is produced at the historic distillery in Versailles, which is recognized as a National Historic Landmark. The brand is part of Brown‑Forman Corporation, a global producer and marketer of premium spirits including Jack Daniel’s, Old Forester and Tequila Herradura.
